Celadon coturnix quail chicks will be available in June 2024.
Our celadon coturnix quail are bred for their gorgeous blue eggs. These eggs are either solid blue, or may have some small flecks. My quails are raised on on the ground, where they can enjoy fresh grass and foraging for insects. Since they are fragile for our New York winters, I bring them inside my house when the temperature in early winter until early spring. They are kept in comfortable hutches, with plenty of space, that are easy to clean and maintain for their health and security.
Day old chicks are not sexed. There’s a 6 chick minimum purchase since they are so small and fragile, this helps reduce their stress during transport. I do not mail chicks at this time.
